Demographics and Psychographics: blog tasks

 

1) What information do media companies use to create a demographic profile of their audience?
age, gender, education, 

2) Why are media companies and advertisers increasingly using audience profiling and not just demographics?
It makes it easier for you to teach your target customer

3) What are the seven different Psychographic groups? 
main stream, succeed, struggler, resigned. explorer, aspirer, reformer, 

4) Write a brief summary of what each Psychographic group is seeking or motivated by.
main stream-these are people who live in the world of domestics and the everyday..
the strugglers-others often see them as victims, loser and wasters aimless, disorganised people.
resigned- these are predominantly older people with constant, unchanging values build up over time.
succeeded-success possess self-confidence have a strong goal orientation and tend t be organised.
explorer-people driven a need for  discovery, challenge and new frontiers.
reformer-their own independent judgement.
aspire-materialistic, acquisitive people who are driven by others persecution,

5) What psychographic group or groups do YOU belong in? Think about your own interests and lifestyle and explain your decision. Remember, you may fit into two or three different groups! 
I think i am a struggler because sometimes i don't know what to do, so  try and debate on two things and its hard what to choose.
