 1) What is the preferred reading of a media text?

intended meaning or message that fits producers goals


2) What is the oppositional reading of a media text
its critical and resistant interpertation that goes against the intended message 


3) How does the Harry Brown trailer position the audience to respond to the teenage characters in the film?
tone is shown as guilty 
violent actions 
harry is a victim and the teens are an oppositinal force in the story
emotional 

4) Why might young people reject this reading and construct an oppositional reading of the trailer?
steryotyping young people and it might relate to them aswell and might show them that there actions are bad
